By Sean O’Connell Hollywoodnews.com: Tom Hardy is having a moment. Certain actors are able to do this. They parlay one or two solid performances into a bevy of bankable roles. With Hardy, his eye-catching turns in “Bronson,” “RocknRolla” and “Inception” are opening a ton of doors for the British thespian. The challenge for him has to be choosing in which direction he’d like his skyrocketing career to go. Must be nice. Weeks after stories broke that Hardy would play a part in Christopher Nolan’s third “Batman” film – though in what role, we’re still unsure – Bloody Disgusting reports that Hardy has been offered the role of Henry Sturgess in Timur Bekmambetov’s adaptation of Seth Grahame-Smith’s “Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter.” Right now, Twentieth Century Fox would like to have this film in theaters by June 22, 2012. That means Hardy’s production schedule will be pretty crowded if he decides to accept the part. He’s also about to be in Gavin O’Connor’s mixed martial arts drama “Warrior.” And he’s filming “This Means War” and “Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy” for Tomas Alfredson, who helmed the original “Let the Right One In.” But of course, we all want to know more about “The Dark Knight Rises,” so once we learn more about that film or Hardy’s other flicks, we’ll bring it to you.
